All rooms at San Isabel Bed and Breakfast, a mountain getaway in Salida, CO, have queen-size beds and wrought iron frames, quilts, down comforters or fleece blankets, and extra pillows. There is a small dresser for your clothing and toiletries in addition to clothes hangers in the closet. The upper level rooms, the Flying Geese and Clementine, boast of spectacular views of the fourteeners, where sunsets show off their colors and shadows. The two bedrooms on each level share a full bath, with fleece or terry cloth robes for your comfort. Next to the bed is a small bedside table, with lamps for your evening reading. A fireplace and leather couched family room is always available.
The lower double-room suite provides ideal accommodations for families or couples traveling together, as it affords a group of four with additional privacy. The Catch and Release and Colorado Room share a full bath and common area, decorated in 1950s memorabilia. Satellite TV, a DVD and video tape player with an ever growing selection of movies is always there for you. This room opens to an outside sitting area and garden, and is comfortable in pleasant weather or winter time sunshine.
In cooler weather, the outside fire pit is a cozy place to watch the stars and moon rise.
Wireless internet is available throughout the house, and radiant heat warms the floors in all of the carpeted rooms or tiled hallways.
Off season rates for all rooms start at $90.00 per night plus appropriate taxes, summer and holidays start at $105.00 per night. Weekly rates are available, in addition to booking all four bedrooms of our country inn for a larger group of eight.
